I blinked and it was May of 2018
WOW! Well, I am living back in the sun-shining state of Arizona.  I have been reassembling my life in the P.H.X. since last Fall after leaving California and coming back to AZ via NY.
(I took the scenic route. :)

Many of you may already know that I lost my sweet 14.5 year-old yorkie, Shvivee, last January and a piece of my heart that I will never get back floated away that day.

Thankfully my spirit is still illuminated.  I am trucking-away over here . . . doing my business-coaching and redesign with Jammin Lifestyle, my Real Estate, my acting, and most recently, my training with the Southwest Institute of Emotional Intelligence.  Next month is my birthday month, and I will be turning 40 on June 23rd. I am feeling grateful for my health and for the opportunity to come into my 4oth year feeling good in myself and excited about the future . . . future mistakes included!

Please know that I hope this message finds you well. The light in me honors the light in you, and I appreciate you following along.

"The biggest challenge of business, is personal growth."

Shauna Kupetz,
Business Artist
"Think locally, globally."

What did you want to be when you were a child?
I wanted to be a Jewelry Designer and a Waitress.
Daily, I would be in character. I'd rename myself, (Chantelle and Francesca to name a few) and I'd daydream these wonderful fantasies by dressing-up, playing, creating, and interacting with those around me from role.

What was the best piece of business advice you were given when you were starting out?
To create multiple avenues of income with my concept so that I wasn't relying on one area of my business to make money.
(Also, not to have a business partner if it wasn't necessary.)

What is your favorite thing about your workspace?
It's mine. Full of life and color, all me, and full of things that inspire me. Gifts and messages from loved-ones that sing the song of my heart. It's feminine, fearless, powerful, and evolving! It's fun.

What's the biggest sacrifice you made in starting or running your business?
In the most beautiful way, I sacrificed the feeling of living small, and under-fulfilled. I also sacrificed the feelings of security, and comfort.

What does the world need more of?
Gratitude. Gratitude is the game changer. The most magical shift in perception.

What does success mean to you?
Success can be measured in so many different ways. Success means living my life authentically. Success means following my heart, and taking chances. I feel most successful when I know my heart has touched someone else's, and that together, our paths are better because of that.

Name the biggest overall lesson you learned in running a business?
It's rad and it takes on a life of its own.
And, the things that you need for your business to prosper are usually the most challenging.

In moments of self-doubt or adversity, how do you build yourself back up?
I use the skills and tools I've learned throughout my years of study and practice to tune out the internal chatter. I give everything I have to being my best self, shining my brightest, and I attempt to make healthy choices. When needed, I turn to people that I know and trust for love and comfort. I do my best to choose love, not fear. (I've found that one has to be careful here, because these two occasionally dance extremely close!) Also, I'm very solution driven, so often times, I seek conversation or advice from people that have what I want, whatever that may be. If I don't have that available, I start researching the best way to handle the situation. I trust that everything will be alright and I remember to breathe.

What quotation inspires and motivates you to be yourself and do what you love?
The goal is to love and be loved, not to be right.
Remember to stay in spirit, not ego.
Strive to live in harmony - when what you say, do, and feel are aligned.
Live a life with no regrets by remembering everything you've ever done had a reason.

At what point in your life did you first learn about your field of work?
What called you to it?

When people started asking me for advice, and also wanting to pay me for that service. When I realized that I had a knack for bringing people together, for inspiring others, and when I realized that I naturally-mastered the ability to network. I love having fun, and I love helping people, so it's a fit.

My field of work is thinking big, creating things that are magical, and connecting with other humans who are wanting to tap into their spirit. I felt this passion at a young age, looked within to learn a lot about myself, and then used my strengths to connect with my peers and community.

Which of your traits are you most proud of?
The way I care about people, and my fearlessness.

What is your no fail go to when you need inspiration to get out of a creative rut?
To start somewhere. A pen and paper . . . a conversation. I travel to get inspired, and I get outside and be with nature. I'm the type of person that needs to start moving and doing something. It's a flow.

What's your favorite thing to come home to after a long day of work?
This question is actually very touching right now, as for the last 14 years, my baby Shvivee dog was what I looked forward to most when coming home or hanging out after work. As I practice my gratitude, especially for him always being there as my perfect sidekick, I realize that I'm never alone. I am full of love, his spirit, and the spirit of everyone that's ever touched my heart. The most beautiful thing I've learned here recently in his passing is that all this love is always with me. I like coming home to anything and anyone soothing and comforting to my five senses.

Falling in love with Upstate New York

Whoa.  The places you'll go. -Dr, Suess

I've been spending the later part of Summer and the newly welcomed Fall in Upstate New York.  Swoon, All over again.

You know my favorite quote . . . Scott Fitzgerald's, "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the Fall."  Apple picking is a must and all the shades of Fall are just stunning here.  The town of Leed's and Hudson will take you away, and the architecture here is ART!

My clients have consisted of politicians and hairstylists . . . so, basically the same business. Haha, not really. I have been working with some of the most talented and driven people I have ever met, and right now I feel really fortunate.

My 14 year-old yorkie, little Shvivee, is in tow, and per usual, is teaching me so much about myself.

Happy Fall y'all.  Let me now what your newest and neatest ideas are, and how I can help you pull them out of your soul and into this beautiful canvas of life.

On the radar . . . you can find me . . .
NYC mid October.
Texas and New Mexico early November,
Colorado late November.

Beginning of 2016 has already happened!

Spring is gone and Summer is already here!

I did it.  I moved to the Bay area April, 2016. I am getting adjusted to my new beautiful life . . .making new friends, finding new adventures, learning my new community and creating fresh starts.

I have a new and exciting love that has blossomed with a wonderful man named Theo. We've just finished a 3-week purification cleanse that my body and mind has reacted to very well! There's been music, hiking and a sense of being that is as raw and authentic as ever.  I've spent a lot of time fulfilling some domestic fantasies and I've enjoyed daydreaming amongst the new opportunities that are in store for me. From where I stand, things are looking good.

June 23rd was my birthday, I turned 38, and gratefully cruised into that with style & grace. (I am still alive and that's a wonderful thing!) Shvivee, my little love-bug, has been a huge hit in this area.  You can now follow him on Instagram, @shviveesjam  And, my newest venture has been skull-art.  I teamed up with another artist, Molly Miller, and we are currently working on our second piece to be released this Fall. Please follow our happenings on Instagram as well, @myrestinpiece.

Business coaching and redesign is still in full force and proving to be effective!  I am thankful for this life energy that I have tapped into that allows me to utilize my skills and talents. It has brought me in contact with wonderful entrepreneurs across the globe, and I have been inspired by each of those collaborations.

To benefit from my coaching personally, or if you know anyone that wants to benefit from my coaching, please be in touch. I would love to connect.

A Bright & Inspired Life.

What's been lighting me up these past few months?

As you know I was invited to speak on "how to live a bright and inspired life both personally and professionally", this past June, and that definitely tapped into my spirit.  It was invigorating and left me lit up!  Completely moved and touched.  I now have an even more special place in my heart for public speaking than I did before.

You see, I surprised myself. I have been speaking for decades, and it is usually in regards to the topic I am actively involved in at the time . . . .either philanthropically, or in regards to my business and/or for the purpose of acting. By this I mean I was hired to portray whatever it is that I was hired to portray.   However, although I was hired, this talk in June was special. I spoke directly from my spirit and was completely reignited.

I felt excited, nervous, powerful and vulnerable all at once - it was awesome.  It was fun to share my synergistic rotation of belief, choice, and creativity that has become the foundation of what is now my #befearless way of life.

Outside of coaching some very inspirational folks, I've been exploring my own spirit deeper. I've been creating! Writing proposals for new projects, and connecting with other visionaries on new opportunities.  Creating new opportunities for collaboration and venture are like a drug, and the drug is day dreaming. Don't ever quit your day dream.  Pop-up coaching and re-design sessions with me have made the cut weekly, and whilst on the road, I am proving to be eternally committed to living a life of harmony and fun.

In short, I've been living out my days passionately - staying true to myself and striving for balance.

I've been listening to Darren Hardy's "Darren Daily" motivational podcasts, meditating with Deepak & Oprah, doing my yoga (on & off the mat), and reading - my latest book being Og Mandino's University of Success.

Spending time and surrounding myself with the ones I love is a constant highlight.

My brothers Jonathan and Max of course stay front and center. My sweet-pea nephew, Brodie, who is hands-down the best "FaceTimer" in the world!  Shvivee, the angel-of-a-being, furry-best-friend of mine, and current travel partner, and my rad friends who remind me to be someone that people want to wrap their arms around.

The photo above was from my birthday party, June 23rd.
You see . . . it's all about LOVE.  Love, love.  The goal is to love and be loved.  That's my kind of magic.

Traveling continues to inspire me and
I love the endless opportunities that I receive from the Universe to learn and grow.  It really is an endless source, and it's always about self-growth.

I am grateful.

I spent the end of June in reunion with some of my cousins throughout the breathtaking state Colorado - that state never gets dull. Ever.

I flew from Denver, CO to Boston, MA . . . traveled to Albany, NY and Scarborough, ME.  Road-tripped through New Hampshire & Vermont, and I'll head to Sonoma, CA before the end of August.

I've experienced things that I have never tried or experienced before. A few I will continue to share with you openly, and some I choose to keep quietly to myself.

In short, I'm alive. Practicing gratitude for, obviously, the good stuff, and also for the rough spots that get me there. I'm utilizing grace and compassion as direct pathways, and in all, the most important part is love.

Time flies when you're having a fucking blast!

Well those last few months flew by  . . .  literally, with a lot of flying!

The month prior to my month-long Thailand escapade, I was in California (twice), New York & Texas. Flew out of LA on my way over the pond, and as most of you know, I made a jaunt to Sri Lanka while I was over there. (See my previous blog post for details.) That contributed to the flying.

Not to mention while I was living in Thailand, I was living an Island life. Island living requires a lot of extra steps in traveling. Steps that include, mopeds, boats, buses, taxis, flights, flights, and flights.

No complaints.

I loved everything! The colors, people, water, sunsets, food, and the hammock lifestyle.  Saw new countries, learned new languages, and had new experiences. Many new ways of experiencing life.  I stood in my fear of scuba diving - #befuckingfearless - and it was awe-inspiring!!  Made new friends, made it out of Thailand with a few crazy Thailand stories, and without getting Dengue Fever; aka the break-bone fever  . . . because you feel like your bones are breaking.

Let's see. I learned some REALLY good yoga. Saw a tantric community lifestyle, and only understood half of what I heard or saw. I taught moped lessons to foreigners that have never driven a moped or motorbike. That should be funny for those of you that know me & my "excellent driving skills." And, I explored. A LOT! Everyday was a new adventure of finding the clearest water, the next most beautiful beach, the yummiest and most inexpensive fresh fruit juice, the next best Thai massage ($11(US) for an hour!!), and going to sleep without Dengue. ;)

I saw beautiful monkeys, elephants, birds & fish. Said "Sa wat dee kha" (hello) and "khaawp khoon kha" (thank you) all-day-every-day. Had very little alcohol consumption - an occasional cold beer  . . . . you are able to order frou frou drinks for days, and there is no good wine, anywhere! Whatsapp & Viber were my main forms of communication with loved ones afar. (Both free apps that allow you to text, call & video chat internationally, for free.)

The seashell hunt was on!  I even made my friend Sue a seashell art installment for her bungalow.  And, a big thank you to Susan for opening her home, her heart and her life in Thailand up to me while I was visiting. "One's destination is never a place, but a new way of experiencing life."

I am now back stateside. Landed at LAX and back to AZ with Shvivee!

May and June will be business coaching and public speaking for me. You are invited to attend a  public event where I will be speaking in Arizona, Wednesday, June 10, 6:30pm at KOR Properties.  The address is 4320 E. Brown Road, suite 104, Mesa, 85205.  As soon as I have a flyer I will post to my website and social media.  See statement release from KOR Properties below:
